HYBRIDIZATION SERVICE

We are now implementing a new hybridization-for-fee service for those who do not wish to perform this step in your own lab may not have access to the required facilities. The cost for this service is tentatively set at $200 per experiment plus the cost of the slide and scanning fee. The user will need to prepare the RNA probes, provide a photo of a gel and the 260/280 OD ratio on each to assure minimum RNA quality. The facility will do its best to assure high quality results but we cannot guarantee that your probe will work correctly. Anyone considering use of this service should provide the facility the estimated number of chips and expected time frame so that we may better judge the utilization rate for this new service.
