Program Leader: Pamela Stanley, Ph.D.

The Molecular Membrane Biology (MMB) Program provides a long-standing forum for AECC investigators with a primary interest in determining roles in cancer for molecules that function at the cell surface or in the secretory pathway of mammalian cells. The MMB Program comprises a highly interactive group of investigators who collaborate with each other and with other members of the AECC. This group has made numerous fundamental discoveries in recent years, several of which impact directly on cancer diagnosis and treatment, and many of which provide novel insights into cancer biology. The MMB Program has four overall goals and four major areas of focus.
