Radiation Safety Training for Technicians

This one hour training provides safety information for individuals who are responsible for radiation safety activities in the laboratory.  While it is titled "Radiation Safety Training for Technicians", it is appropriate for any individual who is responsible for radiation safety in a laboratory.  This training will cover conducting wipe tests, monitoring with a Geiger counter, tracking use and disposal of radioactive material, dosimetry, and more.

While the training session is not currently mandatory, it is strongly recommended that each laboratory using radioactive material send the responsible individual. The individual may sign up on-line by completing the following form.
