The Institute for Community and Collaborative Health of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) has been awarded a grant from the Department of Health and Human Services to establish New York State's first Hispanic Center of Excellence (HCOE). The initiatives of the HCOE will serve to reinforce AECOM's continued presence and participation in the Bronx community. It will highlight the College's longstanding institutional commitment to under-represented minorities in the Bronx and throughout the city and state, as well as provide leadership in education and research in health care disparities and Hispanic health issues.
