The IPHS provides  training opportunities for researchers, faculty and students who are interested in research in public health. Unique to all IPHS training activities is a focus on chronic disease and the social and behavioral dimensions of health within the context of global health.

The first conference, entitled "Diversity & Disparity in Health" jointly sponsored by the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and the Albert Einstein College of medicine was held in New York City.

 

The IPHS is currently presenting a course addressing the significant public health issue of obesity, with funding from the Association for Prevention and Teaching Research (APTR) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
