A postdoctoral fellowship position is available in the laboratory of Mark J. Czaja, MD at the Marion Bessin Liver Research Center , Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx , NY . 

The research focuses on defining the molecular mechanisms underlying the development of hepatic steatosis and resultant liver injury (J. Biol. Chem. 280, 9887; Hepatology 43,163). A particular emphasis is on involvement of the pathways of autophagy and apoptosis in this process.
