The theme of our Department's 27th Annual Fall Symposium, Autumn in New York, 2008 was "Preconception and Prenatal Care: A Life Course Perspective on Women's Reproductive Health and the Outcome of Pregnancy." It was held November 16 & 17, 2008 at the New York Helmsley Hotel, and featured 2 days of world class presentations by experts in every aspect of this topic.

United Nations Gala
The Gala was held November 9, 2006 to celebrate the 25 year tenure of Dr. Irwin R. Merkatz. The evening concluded with the announcement that henceforth Dr. Merkatz will be The Chella and Moise Safra Professor and University Chair, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women’s Health. Congratulations to Dr. Merkatz!!
