Admissions
PRE-MEDICAL COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should have at least
two years of study toward a liberal arts degree and one year formal course
work, including laboratory instruction, on the college level in biological
science, general chemistry, organic chemistry and physics.
One year formal course work
in mathematics and English on the college level is also required.
Formal Advanced Placement
credit, granted by examination, in an area of required course work is
acceptable to satisfy that requirement. It is strongly recommended that
applicants complete advanced level course work in subject areas where
such credit has been granted.
The Committee on Admissions
prefers that these minimum requirements be completed prior to application.
All requirements must be fulfilled prior to matriculation in August, and
all offers of admission are contingent upon satisfactory completion of
required and current course work.
