Honor
Societies and Awards Alpha Omega Alpha, the national honor society, aims to promote high standards of scholarship and character among students and graduates of medical colleges. The Einstein Chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha was founded in 1959. Membership is based on academic achievement, personal characteristics and potential for intellectual growth.
The Andrew Doyle Memorial Award is presented annually to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated outstanding scholarship in neurology or the neurological sciences.
The Eli Rubin Award is presented annually to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated excellence in the field of pulmonary medicine.
The Edward Weinstein Memorial Award is presented annually to a member of the graduating class who has displayed outstanding scholarship and human commitment.
The Maurice E. Greenhill Memorial Award is presented annually to the student who submits the best essay during the Psychiatry Clerkship.
The Irving M. Ratner Award is presented annually to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated excellence in pathology.
The Alfred Angrist Prize is presented annually to two members of the graduating class who have demonstrated excellence in pathology research.
The Leo J. Magliner Award is presented annually to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated excellence in Pediatrics and Community Service.
The Edward Padow Award is presented annually to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated excellence in
Pediatrics.
The Isadore Rossman Memorial Award is presented annually to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated commitment to community health care. |
