Kanya FergusonDr. Kanya Ferguson on Diversity and Inclusion in Dermatology 
Kanya Ferguson, MD, presented dermatologic surgery in skin of color in her presentation 'A Roadmap to Diversity in Dermatology.' 

 

The Division of Dermatology Welcomes Dr. Kseniya Kobets and Dr. Kristina Campton.

Kseniya KobetsDr. Kseniya Kobets Joins the Division of Dermatology 
Kseniya Kobets, MD, received her Bachelor of Arts from the Macaulay Honors College of Queens College, City University of New York, and went on to complete her medical training at Yale University School of Medicine and her medical internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Kobets completed her dermatology residency training at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), followed by a 1-year ASDS accredited cosmetic surgery fellowship at the UPMC Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Health Center with Dr. Suzan Obagi. Her interest lies in both medical and cosmetic dermatology.


Kristina CamptonDr. Kristina Campton Joins the Division of Dermatology 
Kristina Campton, MD, is a board-certified fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is the clinical site director of Montefiore’s Wakefield campus. She graduated from Wellesley College and received her medical degree from Columbia University School of Physicians and Surgeons where she was given the Kligman Award and Fishman Award in recognition for her research in dermatology. Dr. Campton went on to complete her dermatology residency at Weill Cornell College of Medicine where she researched skin immunology and emerging therapies in psoriasis, eczema and acne.

Dr. Campton specializes in adult and pediatric medical dermatology. Her special interests are acne and hormonal treatments for acne, hidradenitis suppurativa, atopic dermatitis, and biologic immunomodulators. She believes in building long-lasting relationships with her patients and working with them as a team to enhance their skin health. She speaks Spanish and has performed medical work and studies in Cuba, Peru, India, Indonesia, and Cambodia, granting extensive experience in treating patients of various ethnicities and skin types.
